Roofe set for Robins debut

Kemar Roofe is set to make his Cheltenham home bow against Hartlepool.

The 20-year-old West Brom loanee has impressed during his first two appearances as the Robins picked up six points from trips to Southend and Morecambe in recent weeks and is now set to play infront of the home faithful for the first time.

The likes of Russ Penn and Jamie Cureton are both pushing for starts against Pools with the latter having played for the final 26 minutes at Morecambe on Saturday.

You have to go back to October 19 to find the the last time the in-form Robins tasted defeat in League Two.

Hartlepool will be without Jordan Richards after the defender's double hernia operation.

Full-back Richards, who has missed the last two games, will be sidelined for about four weeks, but manager Colin Cooper has no new injury or suspension issues.

Midfielder Andy Monkhouse returned to the starting line-up after suspension last week and struck the equaliser against Coventry in the FA Cup, so he is expected to retain his place in the starting line-up.

Fellow midfielders Jonathan Franks and Antony Sweeney are pushing for recalls, while Cooper is likely to name an unchanged back four.
