Elliott in Robins frame
Cheltenham will have defender Steve Elliott available when they host Chesterfield.
The experienced centre-back has missed the last three games with an ankle injury but has been given the all-clear to feature against Paul Cook's high-flying side.
And their trio of loanees look set to feature before manager Mark Yates begins negotiations to try to keep them at the club. David Noble, Kemar Roofe and Connor Goldson's loan deals will all expire after the final whistle.
The Robins' shock 1-0 loss to Mansfield ended their 11-match unbeaten run which saw them climb up the division.
Sam Hird and Ian Evatt are suspended for Chesterfield.
The duo should have served their one-match bans against Northampton but the game at Sixfields was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. In their absence Liam Cooper and Matty Brown will be the Spireites' central defensive partnership.
Leading scorer Marc Richards would have been out against the Cobblers with a hamstring injury but the seven-goal striker is expected to be available and will now not miss a game for Paul Cook's side.
Sam Morsy (knee) and Gary Roberts (hamstring) would have been involved on New Year's Day and will also be in the travelling party on Saturday, while fellow midfielder Jimmy Ryan is nearing a return from a shoulder injury.
