O'Keefe has Imps on the up Josh O'Keefe's 30-yard wonder goal helped Lincoln claim the spoils and move out of the bottom two with a thrilling 2-1 win at Cheltenham. O'Keefe's strike, midway through the first half, helped the Imps to a two-goal cushion that proved too much for Mark Yates's side. Stephen Hunt struck Lincoln's first goal in the 10th minute, forcing the ball home after Ashley Grimes had headed a corner against the post. After O'Keefe had doubled the lead to compound a miserable start for the home side, Cheltenham slowly clawed their way back into the game, with Frankie Artus reducing the arrears in the 31st minute with a thumping close range header. Cheltenham striker Wes Thomas and midfielder David Bird went close to levelling the scores before the break, while Grimes thought he had bagged another early in the second period only for Danny Andrew to clear his shot off the line. There was also a near miss at the other end when Jeff Goulding pushed the ball wide of an open goal after Thomas had chipped the ball against the post.
