The Reading midfielder, who can operate on the left or in the middle of the park, will finalise a six-month loan move to the Abbey Business Stadium this week, but he will get his first taste of action during Tuesday night's pre-season friendly against Bristol Rovers. Bozanic is determined to be a key player for the Robins during his stay and hopes to have an influence on matters at the top end of the table. The 20-year-old, who could be away for up to month between mid-September and mid-October with Australia at the Under-20 World Cup, told the Gloucestershire Echo: "I definitely jumped at the chance to get some League Two football. "Cheltenham have come down from League One and obviously they are looking for promotion, I hope, straightaway. I am going to come in and try to do my part to make that happen. It's a great opportunity for me, so I hope I can take it. I want to come in and start and I don't want to be sitting on the bench." Elsewhere, veteran striker Julian Alsop has now agreed a month-to-month contract with Cheltenham and will challenge Barry Hayles, Tom Denton, Elvis Hammond, Justin Richards and youngsters Theo Lewis and Jake Lee for a place up front.
