The cash-strapped Robins were forced to part ways with chief scout Alan Fettis earlier this year in a bid to cut costs, with Allen undertaking the painstaking process of searching for new signings.[LNB]And in a statement on the club's official website, he said: "Due to a lack of scouting I would be more than happy to receive any ideas and names of players for me to follow up.[LNB]"Unfortunately I will not be able to reply to every letter or email but the players must be out of contract for me to consider them."[LNB]Andy Lindegaard has now joined Paul Connor in being told he will not be offered a new deal but that the club could still retain him depending on developments in his search for a new employer. Alan Wright, Gavin Caines and Aaron Ledgister have already been released.[LNB]Elsewhere, Cheltenham have announced home pre-season fixtures against Premier League new boys Birmingham, current top-flight strugglers West Brom and neighbours Bristol City and Bristol Rovers.[LNB][LNB]
