Allen: We were by far the better team
The Magpies took an early lead through Luke Rodgers, but failed to extend their advantage and were punished by Elvis Hammond's equaliser 15 minutes from time.[LNB]Allen said: "It was a fantastic performance right from the start.[LNB]"They hit it us on the counter-attack, but overall I thought we were by far the better team from start to finish and deserved to win.[LNB]"But the chances we've created have got to be taken. Against good players you don't get too many and when they come your way in the final third they've got to be nailed.[LNB]"It's frustrating that we didn't go on and win because we played 90% of that game in their final third. It's another point on the board, but from two home games this week disappointing to just get one point."[LNB][LNB]
