Allen pride after battling draw

Hal Robson-Kanu opened the scoring for the hosts only for Elvis Hammond to grab a brace and put Cheltenham ahead. Although Kevin Amankwaah pounced just after the hour mark to grab a share of the spoils for Swindon, Allen had special praise for his battling players. "It was a superb performance and the players did us proud. It takes courage to keep the ball and it was all about keeping the ball and passing," he said. "It was nice to see Hammond getting two goals. I've been waiting to see that. "We came into this game without even a scouting report on Swindon and it was backs to the wall. But the players did themselves proud, the supporters proud and the club proud. "Last week the chairman saved us from administration and the players might not have been paid if he had not saved us."
