Allen job secure - Robins chairman

Allen was brought in to try and save the Robins from the drop back in September and immediately set about a complete overhaul both on and off the pitch.[LNB]Results did improve towards the end of 2008, however the club are currently on a run of nine games without victory in all competitions and have dropped to the foot of the League One table.[LNB]The former Leicester, MK Dons and Brentford boss signed a three-year deal and Baker insists he will stand by his man. He told the Gloucestershire Echo: "Relegation would not be the end of the world because we could consolidate and move on.[LNB]"We just need to get this season out of the way if I am honest and deal with whichever division we are in next season and set the budget accordingly.[LNB]"Martin's job doesn't depend on keeping Cheltenham Town up. I am confident he can achieve it, but if not, he's still the right man for Cheltenham Town. We have given Martin a three-year contract and I expect him to see it out."[LNB][LNB]
