Allen aims to avoid administration

The relegation-threatened Robins slumped to a 4-0 defeat at Allen's former club Leicester. Allen said: "It's very important that the club just keeps going and doesn't have to go into administration, but I'm not complaining about the situation because the bills have to be paid and if you don't then you'll have to go into administration. "It means I can't strengthen the squad but I have to live with that and maximise what I've already got." Allen was proud of his players despite the heavy defeat at the Walkers Stadium but admitted they had been beaten by the better side. He added: "Full credit to the players. I thought they were terrific on Tuesday against Swindon and then tried to give it a real go here. There is a massive contrast between the clubs. Leicester are a club with an awesome history and a fantastic fan base and I fully expect them to be promoted and then to push on and challenge in the Championship."
