About time we signed someone. Yossi Benayoun has finally put pen to paper and signed for Chelsea. With so many Chelsea staff on holiday and Liverpool only yesterday getting a new manager, the most sign-posted addition to SW6 is now a Blue. The ex-Liverpool misfit, 30, replaces Chelsea legend Joe Cole, 28, in the squad. Benayoun struggled to claim a regular first team spot in the most disappointing Liverpool team in a generation Chelsea fans are unimpressed by Chelsea's first signing of the season and the Israeli international midfielder probably can't believe his luck in joining the Double champions. Yossi must have an excellent agent with high-powered contacts. Yossi has signed for three years from the Scousers who finished well off the pace last season. The midfielder is an ex-West Ham man and also played for mighty Racing Santander in Spain. Good luck Yossi.
