Winger Walcott warns rivals that Arsenal are planning a big finish

Theo Walcott reckons Arsenal's returning big guns will have other teams running scared as the Gunners look to finish their season in style. Arsenal secured an FA Cup semi-final date with Chelsea at Wembley next month following a 2-1 win against Hull, which was settled through a controversial late goal from William Gallas and was overshadowed by allegations captain Cesc Fabregas spat at Tigers assistant manager Brain Horton following the final whistle. While that saga could rumble on, Arsene Wenger's young side continue to grow in stature. The troubles of earlier in the campaign, when an unsettled dressing room and inconsistent performances threatened to wreck Wenger's plans, seem a distant memory now as Arsenal look ahead to the draw for the quarter-finals of the Champions League with plenty of reasons to be positive after climbing back into the top four of the Premier League. When the squad return from the international break ahead of the clash with Manchester City on April 4, it is likely Fabregas, who has been sidelined since before Christmas with a knee injury, Croatia striker Eduardo and Togo frontman Emmanuel Adebayor will all be in contention for regular first-team action again. That, according to England winger Walcott, himself now fit following a shoulder problem which needed surgery, can make all the difference. 'Everyone is a big hitter at the club,' Walcott declared. 'Big names are coming back, which scares other teams and that is a nice feeling. 'They will be back soon and hopefully we can push for the Champions League spots and some trophies.' Walcott added: 'Last year we had our bad spell towards the end of the season and hopefully we have had it in the middle this time. 'With players coming back and the team getting back their sharpness and getting goals from all sorts of positions, hopefully we are going to have a good spell now.'
