Jose Mourinho was delighted to see Chelsea win 3-1 at Levski Sofia on Wednesday but admitted he was far from happy with his side's performance.

A Didier Drogba hat-trick secured victory in the Champions League Group A clash in Bulgaria, before Maryan Ognyanov scored a late consolation for the hosts.

Mourinho said: "It was cool, calm and composed although we are still not playing very, very well.

"But the most important thing is that we are going home with three points in the bag.

"We need to improve though because the last 15 minutes were disappointing.

"We should have played better in the closing stages and scored more goals with Arjen Robben and Salomon Kalou on the pitch."

The victory, coupled with Barcelona's 1-1 draw at Werder Bremen, left Chelsea top of Group A, but Mourinho insisted it was too early to talk about qualification for the last 16 with any confidence.

He added: "It means the group is very strong. Normally when you have Barcelona and Chelsea in the same group at this moment it should be six (points) and six (points).

"We have six points, we have to do about 10 or 11.

"We have to go to Barcelona and Bremen, two difficult matches. We are not playing super football, still some players have room to improve but still we are okay."
