Wesley Sneijder no go for Manchester United Chelsea

ShareWesley Sneijder has dealt a hammer blow to Chelsea and Manchester United's hopes of signing him after he claimed to be happy at Inter Milan.[LNB]The playmaker, a ?30million target for both clubs, has spent two years in Italy but was expected to move to England this summer.[LNB] Smile like you mean it: Sneijder pictured leaving a Los Angeles restaurant with his partner [LNB]But the Champions League winner has delivered a stunning snub to his suitors.[LNB]'At the moment I am very happy here and I don't see why I should leave,' he told Inter's official website.[LNB] Staying put? Wesley Sneijder has claimed he is happy to stay in Italy despite interest from the Premier League[LNB]'There is a family atmosphere at Inter and there are all the ingredients to aim high. Milan is marvellous, picturesque and full of elegance. I love it.'[LNB]The 27-year-old Dutch international joined Inter from Real Madrid in 2009 and helped the Nerazzurri win the Champions League, Serie A and Coppa Italia in his first season in Milan.[LNB] Costly business: Sneijder was expected to command a ?35m fee if he left the San Siro this summer[LNB]Injuries hindered the former Ajax star last season however, and he scored just four goals scored in 25 league appearances as Inter finished runners-up in the league.[LNB]Sneijder is under contract with Inter until June 2015 but has reportedly been identified by United boss Sir Alex Ferguson as the ideal replacement for the retiring Paul Scholes.[LNB] United bound: Ashley Young (right) is expected to complete his move to Old Trafford [LNB]But the Old Trafford club are set to clinch the signing of Aston Villa forward Ashley Young and are also keeping tabs on Tottenham's Luka Modric and Arsenal's Samir Nasri.[LNB]Potential Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink was reported to have told Blues owner Roman Abramovich that he was top of his transfer wish list while Manchester City were also interested and would be best placed to meet Sneijder's reputed ?200,000-a-week wage demands.[LNB][LNB]  Get me Wesley!
