Werder Bremen general manager Klaus Allofs has declared his intention to try and re-sign Claudio Pizarro.[LNB] The Peruvian striker joined Werder on a year-long loan from Chelsea last summer and enjoyed a successful campaign.[LNB]It remains unclear where Pizarro will be plying his trade when the new season gets underway but he is expected to return to hold talks with the Blues next week.[LNB]If the decision is taken that he will leave Stamford Bridge, there are likely to be a number of interested clubs.[LNB]But Allofs is confident of securing a deal to bring Pizarro back to the Weserstadion.[LNB]He told kicker-Sportmagazin: "We are intensively working on having him here for the new season and potentially also for more than just the new campaign.[LNB]"He is a great striker and has shown what he can do for the club."[LNB]
