Wenger rules out signing strike trio to replace Van Persie in January

Arsene Wenger admits his chances of buying a striker next month are receding fast after ruling out Marouane Chamakh, Edin Dzeko and Mario Balotelli.[LNB]The Arsenal manager revealed this week he would like to reinforce his options in attack after learning Robin van Persie's ankle injury would rule him out for most of the rest of the season.[LNB] Double blow: Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes his chances of signing either Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh or Wolfsburg's Edin Dzeko (R) are slim[LNB]But he said: 'Let's not dream too much.
