Reading football consultant Frank Lampard senior claims the poor performances of some players this season are unfair on the fans.
The 61-year-old believes that if some players are feeling the pressure of playing at the Madejski Stadium, then it needs to be addressed immediately.
And the former West Ham assistant manager and father of England international Frank Lampard hopes the international break will allow the Royals to work out why they are underachieving this season.
"I don't know whether one or two players feel the pressure and it's off them when we're away, but we need to look at that," Lampard told the Reading Evening Post.
"If there are players who feel a bit uncomfortable at home then maybe we need to deal with that in our own way.
"It's not fair on the supporters who pay their money and come to the game and go away disappointed and I understand that."
