[LNB]The incident was not included in referee Howard Webb's match report, and although the FA did review footage of the alleged gesture, they concluded it was not aimed at the away supporters.[LNB] An Old Trafford spokesman denied that Rooney had sworn at fans, however, suggesting he was actually pointing to his eyes because of what he thought was a bad decision after being fouled by Branislav Ivanovic.[LNB] Sportsmail readers have had their say on the matter, with 52 per cent backing the FA ruling, which is expected to be announced later on Tuesday. [LNB]Rooney was banned for two games earlier this season for swearing into a camera in United's comeback win over West Ham in April.
