Wales v England: John Terry focused on winning in Wales
England captain John Terry believes the result is the only important thing when his side take on Wales in Cardiff on Saturday.[LNB]Talk of Terry regaining the armband from Rio Ferdinand has overshadowed the build up to the game, but the Chelsea defender insists that tomorrow is about the team and not him.[LNB]In it to win it: Terry is focused solely on the result of the clash with Wales, not the performance[LNB]'It's a huge derby for our fans and everyone watching back home. The players realise the importance of it and we're determined to get a result which is our main priority,' he said.[LNB]'On a personal note, I'm delighted with the manager's decision. It was important that we discussed it on Monday (with the media) and we've been concentrating on the training field since then and have a good week under our belts.[LNB]'Oncewe got Monday out of the way we drew a line under it, but on a personalnote I've been very touched to see some of the players publicly supporting me.[LNB]'A win is a must. We realise they (Wales) are bottom and have not had the best start. They're a dangerous side with some really good, young players coming through.[LNB]'On paper everyone is expecting us to win, but as players we`re not feeling like that. We know what we have to do.'[LNB]ManagerFabio Capello earlier suggested that Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere would play a part at the Millennium Stadium, and Terry has no concerns about the teenager's ability to perform on the international stage.[LNB]He added: 'I played against him when he was on loan at Bolton a couple of years ago and for someone so small, the strength and ability he has, and an amazing left foot, mean he is going to grow into a very good player.[LNB]'I have sat there as a fan and seen Jack playing against Barcelona and holding his own. I sat there and was excited for England.'[LNB]Terryalso rejected a suggestion that some of England's poor displays at the World Cup and in the early stages of their Euro 2012 qualifying campaignhave been down to fear.[LNB] All change: The new England captain Terry leads his team-mates out for training[LNB]'I don't think it's a real fear,' he said. 'It's a fear of not winning, not succeeding. We are playing for our country and we know everyone is watching us and believing in us and supporting us.[LNB]'We believe we have the quality. It's a fear of failure and we don't want tolet down our fans, our families and everyone who comes along to supportus. But I can promise we will give it all we can throughout this campaign.'[LNB]The Blues defender also hit back at those who have said that the players do not care enough about the national side.[LNB]Impressive: Terry was pleased with how well Wilshere coped against Barcelona[LNB]'When you are here and lose you see first hand the disappointment on the players' faces and the way you don't get a word out of some players for four of five hours after a game,' he added.[LNB]'When you see things like that, that's one thing we can take away; at times we will lose games but we will always give our all and fight.'[LNB]And Terry readily acknowledges that plenty of passion will be required against the Welsh.[LNB]'It's a big derby and, regardless of the rankings, on the day in big games you find the better side does not always win,' he said. 'But if we show as much passion as them I think we have the quality to win the game[LNB]'It's going to be a great atmosphere, it always is in these big stadiums, and they are a passionate country.[LNB]'With us training with or facing their players week in, week out it is very different to an international.
