Christine Bleakley was born in Newry in Northern Ireland on the 2nd of February 1979, Her Father, Frederick, Was a full time musician whilst her Mother, Mina, stayed at home looking after her and her younger sister Nicola.
Bleakley started her career in television as a runner at BBC NI but then trained to be a floor manager whilst she studied her A-Levels. she carried on working at BBC NI whilst studying at Queens Univiersity in Belfast, but gave up trying to get her degree in Politics to work full time in television.
She has since hosted a variety of shows, Sky High for xample saw her flying all over Northern Ireland in a helicopter, as well as First Stop and Would You Pass The 11+. She eventually went on the host BBC's "The One Show" but left in 2010.
