// A bit of a hack but it works// The article snippet is wrapped onto a second line, even when #article-sub is emptyif( $("div#article-sub").children().length == 0 ) {$("div#article-sub").remove();} QPR striker Rowan Vine is hoping to be named in Jim Magilton's starting Xl against Chelsea in the Carling Cup.[LNB] Vine was handed his first league start in the win over Cardiff at the weekend having figured largely as a substitute throughout the early part of the season.[LNB]The 27-year-old is hoping his performance was enough to warrant a second start when Rangers travel to Stamford Bridge on Wednesday.[LNB]Although conceding that competition is rife, Vine believes his contribution on Saturday, combined with his performance in the previous round against Accrington will stand him in good stead.[LNB]"I got my first league start of the season on Saturday and I started the last round tie against Accrington, so it would be nice to see my name in the starting eleven when the team sheets are handed out," he told Skysports.com.[LNB]"Every player is looking forward to it though and everyone wants to play, but I'd love to be given the nod again tomorrow night."[LNB]ChanceThe last time the Blues were beaten at home was against Burnley almost a year ago, when the cup specialists defeated the London club on penalties.[LNB]Despite their otherwise solid record, Vine believes Rangers are more than capable of springing an upset.[LNB]"You always see upsets occur in the cup competitions and the Carling Cup especially tends to see the big sides resting a couple of players here and there, which obviously gives sides like us a big boost when you aren't coming up against the likes of John Terry and Didier Drogba," he said.[LNB]"They've got a lot of games at the moment, with their European adventures, so they will probably change it a bit.[LNB]"We've performed well against Premier League opposition over the last couple of years, so we will certainly be believing that we can get something out of the tie."[LNB]
