Villa v Chelsea game delayed by sick referee

Saturday's Premier League game between Aston Villa and Chelsea was delayed by 20 minutes after the referee fell ill and a replacement fourth official could not immediately be found. Original referee Steve Bennett withdrew shortly before the game, with fourth official Kevin Friend taking over. A local referee was eventually found to take over the touchline duties of the fourth official and allow the match to be started.
