Neymar did his best to live up to his billing as the 'New Pele' as he scored twice and put in a dazzling performance during Santos's 5-0 victory over Barueri on Wednesday night.

The Brazilian club are excitedly ready to welcome Robinho back to the club on loan from Manchester City, but they showed they have plenty of talent without the jaded Brazil star.

VIDEO: Neymar sets up the third and scores the next two in Santos rout.

HAVE YOUR SAY.     Is Robinho the biggest waste of money ever in the Premier League? The Manchester City forward has been sent on loan to Santos - just 18 months after arriving from Real Madrid in a British record £32.5million deal. Andriy Shevchenko and Juan Sebastian Veron are two expensive flops but is Robinho the worst of the lot? TELL US WHAT YOU THINK Judging by this performance, it is no surprise that City are insisting on a first-refusal option for 17-year-old Neymar as part of the deal for Robinho.

Wearing the No 7 that the former Real Madrid star is now in line to take, the Brazil Under 20 star terrorised defenders, making the third with some nifty footwork and scoring the last two in the match against Barueri.

City are not the club interested. Chelsea and Real Madrid are already thought to have spoken to his agent and his talent is well known to most of Europe's top clubs.
