Valencia coach Quique Sanchez Flores said his side would go on the attack in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final against Chelsea, following a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.
David Silva's stunning drive in the first half gave Los Che a valuable away goal to take back to Spain, but Didier Drogba's equaliser left the tie delicately poised for the return at the Mestalla.
Flores commented: "We have achieved the first objective, which was to take it to the second leg so the tie will be settled at the Mestalla.
"It is a good result when you look at the statistics of how Chelsea have performed at home.
"We performed well in the first half, but then it was more difficult, you would expect that from a team like Chelsea.
"We will have to be more offensive in the second leg because we are at home.
"It would be foolish to sit back and defend against a team like Chelsea, so we will not be doing that."
