Sir Alex Ferguson has become an unlikely Chelsea's ally and admitted he can understand why Guus Hiddink's stars lost their cool following their Champions League knockout against Barcelona. The Manchester United boss did not condone the Blues who turned on referee Tom Henning Ovrebo but was not surprised by the likes of Didier Drogba and Michael Ballack's actions. He said: 'I don't want to get into that but football creates emotions, there is no doubt about that. It is an emotional game, we have seenthat emotion in matches time and time again. After it, you cool downand say 'I'm sorry'. It happens.'
