United and Chelsea set to miss out as Bayern secure cash to keep Ribery

In demand: Europe's big guns are tracking Ribery Bayern Munich's hopes of holding on to Franck Ribery have been boosted by a potential £90million tie-up with German car maker Audi. The Bundesliga giants had been expected to cash in on interest from Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Barcelona next summer because the France star's contract only runs to the middle of 2011. But the new-found wealth for a club who are already in rude health could convince Ribery that his future lies at the Allianz Arena. Audi want to take a share in Bayern as well as sign a lengthy sponsorship agreement. The club's general manager Uli Hoeness said: 'This is a participation (in the club) and a long-term contract. It is a package. An advertising contract and a participation. The amount is well over 100 million euros (£90m).' The stake Audi would take is unknown, but Hoeness expects a full announcement before the club's annual meeting on November 27.   Sir Alex Ferguson calls for consistency as champions head for ChelseaBolton 0 Chelsea 4: Blues send out a warning to Manchester UnitedManchester United 2 Blackburn 0: It's a fight for Sir Alex Ferguson Jamie Redknapp's weekend watch: Bobby Zamora brings so much moreWayne Rooney misses Manchester United training as speculation mounts that wife Coleen is about to give birth MANCHESTER UNITED FC
