Uefa general secretary David Taylor has condemned Chelsea's players for their actions after their Champions League exit to Barcelona.[LNB] Barca dispatched the Blues courtesy of an injury time strike from Andres Iniesta but Chelsea feel they were on the end of a number of contentious decisions from Norwegian referee Tom Henning Ovrebo.[LNB]Didier Drogba launched a tirade at the official live on television, while team-mate Jose Bosingwa publicly called him a 'thief'.[LNB]Both players have since apologised but Taylor remains less than happy with what went on at Stamford Bridge.[LNB]Behaviour"When we get to the top level we expect better in terms of players' behaviour," Taylor said in The Guardian.[LNB]"Refereeing is an extremely difficult job. All I would ask is a bit more respect is shown towards officials. [LNB]"Notwithstanding the high emotions, high drama, high stakes involved, these guys are out there in the middle having to make decisions just like that, on the spot. [LNB]"I spoke to [the Chelsea chief executive] Peter Kenyon at the end of the match and he fully accepts there are no conspiracies at all. [LNB]"Of course there are questions from time to time about refereeing standards, but that's looked at continually in terms of performances. That's what we do as a responsible organisation."[LNB]
