Carlo Ancelotti has urged Chelsea supporters to trust him when he says John Terry will be the club's captain for years to come. Command and conquer: Milan's Alexandre Pato looks on in defeat as Terry rises to head clear the danger during Chelsea's 2-1 win Terry again declined the chance to speak about Manchester City's bid to lure him from Stamford Bridge after playing 90 minutes of a 2-1 win against AC Milan in a pre-season friendly in Baltimore. On the field, Ancelotti's early days have gone well, with three wins from three friendlies on the USA tour, but the Terry issue continues to overshadow everything, with City refusing to take no for an answer and preparing an English record bid in excess of £35million. To Chelsea's annoyance, the England captain has consistently refused opportunities to pledge his future to Chelsea, casting doubt on the optimism of those at the club who are adamant he is going nowhere. 'John Terry will stay in Chelsea, for sure,' said Ancelotti. 'We have never had a problem. We have to wait. Is it a problem for you to wait? You have to trust in me.' Blue order: Chelsea fans in the US are pleaded with skipper JT to reject Manchester City's riches Didier Drogba and Yuri Zhirkov, making his debut after an £18m move from CSKA Moscow, scored the Chelsea goals in Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium, with Clarence Seedorf on target for Milan. Ancelotti's successor at Milan, Leonardo, found himself under siege from Italian media about whether midfielder Andrea Pirlo would be the next to leave for Stamford Bridge. 'I hope not,' said Leonardo. 'The market is open until August 31 and a lot of things can happen, but I think nothing will happen on that case.'
