Tottenham set to extend Gudjohnsen loan deal at White Hart Lane

Eidur Gudjohnsen looks set for another season at White Hart Lane after revealing a clause in his contract gives Tottenham the option to extend his current loan deal. [LNB]The former Chelsea striker, who is currently on loan from Monaco, could stay at Spurs for another 12 months, should the north Londoners wish to extend his deal in the summer. [LNB]Manager Harry Redknapp is keen to keep the Icelandic international and Gudjohnsen, who has started Tottenham's last two games in the absence of the injured Jermain Defoe and Roman Pavlyuchenko, would relish the chance to play a major role for Spurs next season.
