Torres eyes end to goal drought

Fernando Torres admits he must start scoring for Chelsea as he looks finally to break his duck against Blackpool on Monday. Torres has flopped in front of goal since his £50million move from Liverpool, drawing a blank in each of his four matches for the Barclays Premier League champions. Manager Carlo Ancelotti claimed after Tuesday night's win over Manchester United that he does not ask his strikers to score. But Torres accepts he was not bought to fire blanks and is confident that once he bags his first for the club, the floodgates will open. "I know I'm here to score goals," he told Chelsea TV. "It's the job of the striker, so hopefully I can score the first and I'm sure it will be the first of many."
