Eden Hazard revealed on Twitter that he had decided to join European champions Chelsea but I’m not sure how many people thought his impact would be so quick upon the Premier league.
So much hype surrounded him at Lille after last season where he assisted 15 goals and scored 20 from midfield in an unbelievable 38 league games. Although he has only scored once in the Premier league he has made a mockery of defences and assisted four goals in just six appearances for the London club.
His pass success rate is in the high eighties and has collected the man of the match award twice already. At only 21 years old this young lad has time on his side and comparisons are already being made to Ronaldo and Messi who are the two best footballers on the planet right now.
Chelsea are currently unbeaten in the league and look good value for the top spot in the Premier league. It’s fair to say that if he along with his team-mates continues to perform, Chelsea look a good bet for the title this season.
