Even at £50million most fans thought that Torres would end up scoring enough goals at Stamford Bridge to make the transfer fee somewhat reasonable.
That just simply wasn't to be the case for Fernando, who has so far managed just 3 Premier League goals for Chelsea.
Undoubtedly a world class goalscorer when on form, his days in England may be coming to an end with rumours circulating around that Chelsea have run out of patience with the Spanish International.
A move back to his home Country could be the best option for Torres, although Chelsea are not likely to recuperate anything like the £50million they spent on him.
