They think it's all Rover

Four points behind United now Hema Kanani is not confident the Blues can recover fron their drab draw against Blackburn Rovers. Chelsea knew a victory was vital when the whistle blew to start the game against Blackburn Rovers. Manchester United’s earlier defeat of Liverpool had left the Blues five points behind the leaders. I believe Chelsea have a very unhappy team at the moment, especially after their midweek elimination from the Champions League. So to get a goal so early was encouraging - Didier Drogba slotted home the ball following a wonderful ball from Nicolas Anelka. They could have hit another within the next 10 seconds but failed to turn that into a goal. Chelsea continued to dominate play for much of the half – Florent Malouda kicked the ball towards the back post for another corner but Samba headed it clear.   Blackburn did create a chance in the 26th minute however that didn’t translate into a goal following another header by Samba to Pedersen.   Chelsea could not convert their superiority into another goal in the remainder of the half – In fact I was almost asleep from it was that boring.
