The Tipster - Everton to frustrate Chelsea yet again
So, where next for mercurial Chelsea? A shocking run of three defeats and a draw in their last five games has proved the champions to be far from infallible and makes them an interesting betting subject this weekend.
Of course, few would be surprised if the Blues, buoyed by the return of John Terry and Michael Essien, went out and demolished Everton at Stamford Bridge; they're certainly capable of bouncing back in such startling fashion. But Everton are no mugs against Chelsea.
Indeed, they've become somewhat of a bogey team for Carlo Ancelotti's side of late, and are unbeaten in their last four meetings in the league - Chelsea's longest winless run against any other Premier League club. And when you factor in the stat that the Blues have drawn their last four top flight matches against the Toffees at the Bridge, another game without a Chelsea win is not beyond the realms of possibility.
Everton are unbeaten in their last five league games away from Goodison Park; a sixth on Saturday would equal a club record. Yet a win for David Moyes' side may still be too far-fetched. A draw on the other hand is a decent bet, with Boyle Sports offering 15/4 on a stalemate - what would be Everton's fourth in succession.
A goalless draw though is unlikely. Not with Chelsea on the pitch; they've only had one all season - back in October at Aston Villa. Avoid backing Didier Drogba though. Not because he won't score - he probably will, to break his seven-match goal drought - but rather because you can't get better than 21/20 (with Victor Chandler) for the Ivorian to score at any time.
A far more generous flutter would be to back Tim Cahill to continue his incredible scoring run of netting in his last three matches. If the Australian makes it four in a row, he'll equal the Premier League record set by Carlos Tevez. Coral have him at 4/1.
