Chelsea captain John Terry has denied claims that he spat at Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez during the Champions League Final.
Terry was involved in an extra-time shoving match with the Argentina striker in the build-up to Didier Drogba's red card for slapping Nemanja Vidic.
The England defender and several team-mates were unhappy that Tevez kicked the ball out of play in an unfavourable position following a break for an injury.
But Terry, whose side lost out on penalties after he missed his sudden death spot-kick, has categorically denied claims of spitting.
"There was some pushing and shoving, I admit that," he told The Sun.
"But no spitting, that is not my style. No way would I spit at another player."
