Terry against all-English tie

Chelsea captain John Terry has admitted he would prefer not to face another English side in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

The Blues cruised into the last eight by easing to a 3-0 victory against a poor Olympiacos side on Wednesday to join Manchester United and Arsenal in the quarter-finals of Europe's premier competition.

Liverpool could make it four Premier League teams in the last eight if they can hold on to their 2-0 first leg lead against Internazionale next week.

Terry said: "After getting this far you don't really want to get drawn against a Liverpool or a Manchester United or an Arsenal, so hopefully we an avoid them.

"But if we get them, to go all the way you have to beat the best sides so, even though it won't be nice, we have to beat them."

However, Frank Lampard has a different outlook, saying: "What will be will be. If all four of us go through - and Liverpool are in a good position - there will be a great chance of an all-English match

"It's obviously great for England if we're all in there but if we draw one we'll have to do deal with it."
