Didier Drogba is confident skipper John Terry will snub Manchester City to stay with Chelsea. The Blues striker is close to signing a new three-year deal with the Blues and he now expects Terry to end any doubts about his own future. 'He's our captain and we need him and we know he's going to stay with us and win more trophies,' said Drogba. Drogba, making his first appearance in pre-season following aninjury-hit season, helped Chelsea beat Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan inPasadena on Tuesday night. And despite being linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, the Ivory Coast star is determined to see out his career in west London. 'I have said before that I am happy at Chelsea and that I want to stay,' he said. 'I could finish my career here, I would love to do that.' Drogba has been pinpointed as a key asset by new boss Carlo Ancelotti but he insists Chelsea need to boost their squad ahead of the upcoming campaign. As yet, they have only added Yuri Zhirkov, Daniel Sturridge and Ross Turnbull. 'Whenever you play for Chelsea, you need to play good and have big objectives,' Drogba added. 'This squad went to the Champions League semi-final last season and to the final two seasons ago so the team is very good. 'If we sign one or two more players they will be welcome but if not we will still be very competitive.' Of his side coming face to face with Mourinho, Drogba said: 'It'salways nice to see him, he was a big part of Chelsea's success and nowwe're moving on. 'We have a new manager now and we're all happy for him because he won his second game out of two, so it's all good. 'We're working hard, this is only the start and we want to be ready for the start of the season.' Goals from Drogba in the 11th minute and a Frank Lampard penalty just afterhalf-time gave Chelsea the victory over the Italian champions.
