Terry warns England: Write off Chelsea flop Shevchenko at your peril
England skipper John Terry has warned his team-mates not to underestimate Andriy Shevchenko this week as the Ukraine striker will be hungry to prove people wrong.[LNB]Shevchenko endured a miserable two years at Chelsea before returning to AC Milan but he will be back in London for Wednesday's World Cup qualifier at Wembley.[LNB]Terry knows Shevchenko from their time together at Stamford Bridge and is wary of the 32-year-old undermining England's perfect start in qualifiers on the road to South Africa next year.[LNB] Point to prove: Andriy Shevchenko remains one of Ukraine's biggest threats[LNB]'Things didn't go too well for him at Chelsea but he is a quality player, a great finisher and, when you forget about him, he pops up with a goal," Terry said.[LNB]'He has a first-class touch and a great finish. We need to be very aware of him. He is a big player over there so, when he plays there, he says the pressure is on him and he always want to do well.[LNB]'He'll be coming here for two reasons: to prove Chelsea wrong and to prove himself.'[LNB]England warmed up for the Ukraine clash with a 4-0 friendly win against Slovakia on Saturday, although Terry feels they are still getting to grips with playing at the refurbished Wembley.[LNB]Praise: John Terry[LNB]'We still have a long way to go,' he said.
