Terry not fit to be England captain so I had to axe him, insists Fabio Capello

Stripped of England captaincy: John Terry[LNB]Fabio Capello says he had no choice but to strip John Terry of the England captaincy because he was not an example for young children.[LNB]The England boss took the armband off Terry following revelations that the married Chelsea defender had an affair with international team-mate Wayne Bridge's ex-girlfriend, Vanessa Perroncel.[LNB]The Italian says he had no qualms about taking the captaincy away from Terry as his actions proved he was not fit to captain the national team.[LNB]Capello told the Spanish channel Gol Televisi?'Players and fans want the captain's armband to be worn by an exemplaryplayer. They want the captain to be an example for young children. [LNB]'Whathappened with Terry wasn't good. I saw him at Wembley and we spokeabout [the affair] and we spoke about football. It was fine.
