Terry deserves to stay on as captain of England, argues Tommy Docherty

Tommy Docherty, who lost his job as Manchester United manager after having an affair with the wife of physiotherapist Laurie Brown in 1977, believes John Terry should remain captain of England.[LNB]As calls for Terry to step down or be sacked continue, Docherty said: 'I think he should continue as England captain and as an England player.[LNB] Terry: In action for Chelsea at Burnley on Saturday night[LNB]'Chelsea have set the example by letting him carry on in his present position at Stamford Bridge and quite rightly so.[LNB]'It's been left with [Fabio] Capello to make the decision.
