Crewe have reached an agreement with Chelsea to extend the loan of goalkeeper Rhys Taylor until the end of the season.[LNB] The 20-year-old joined the League Two club on an initial two-month deal as cover for Steve Phillips, who is recovering from shoulder surgery. That deal was due to expire on Wednesday.[LNB]Alex boss Dario Gradi told the club's official website: "Chelsea have been tracking him and they are pleased with him and pleased with us.[LNB]"He is happy here, he has done well, he is very quick and he keeps the ball out of the net."[LNB]Taylor added: "My plan was just to get through it and play and do as well as I could and I think the manager now knows that I can do alright in this league.[LNB]"I have played more games in this month than all of last season and maybe two seasons, so it is good for me to be playing."
