Tottenham could land Chelsea flop Andriy Shevchenko and Dynamo Kiev in Friday's draw for the Champions League play-off round.

Striker Shevchenko set up two goals as the Ukrainians won 3-1 at Ghent to seal a 6-1 aggregate victory.

Based on UEFA coefficient rankings Spurs are seeded for the draw and will avoid Sevilla, Werder Bremen, Zenit St Petersburg and Ajax.

Celtic slayers Braga are potential opponents for Harry Redknapp's side. The Portuguese outfit went through 4-2 on aggregate after going down 2-1 in Glasgow.

Serie A side Sampdoria, French cracks Auxerre and Young Boys Berne are the other teams who could be placed between Spurs and a place in the lucrative group stage of football's premier club competition.
