David Beckham could be in line for a shock return to the Barclays Premier League. The veteran England midfielder, who is desperate to play at next summer's World Cup finals, has admitted he is weighing up a move to England. Beckham, 34, is set to head back to LA Galaxy after his loan deal at Italian giants AC Milan finished. He has now put a host of top-flight clubs on red alert by revealing he could quit America. Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has already expressed his interested, while new Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti worked with Beckham at Milan. 'I will definitely be coming back to Europe in December because of the World Cup,' he said. 'Nothing has been finalised yet but Mr Capello has always said to me 'Wherever you go, play at the highest level. 'I will be playing 10 or 11 games for the Galaxy, so I don't think he will be worried about a lack of competitive football. He will be more concerned about where I will be going in December, though. 'AC Milan are one of the clubs who have shown an interest but there are a number of top leagues in Europe, including England. So we'll just have to see what happens.'
