Luiz Felipe Scolari has backed Frank Lampard to score 150 Premier League goals after reaching the century milestone during Chelsea's 5-0 rout of Sunderland.
The England midfielder reached the landmark with his 51st minute strike at Stamford Bridge on Saturday in a game where Nicolas Anelka helped himself to a hat-trick and Alex opened the scoring.
Afterwards Scolari hailed Lampard as the best player in his position in the world and backed the Blues vice-captain to reach the next milestone.
"If he plays more games maybe he will be arriving at 150 in the league," he claimed.
"In every game he gets one or two goals and for a midfielder it is fantastic.
"If we need to think about who is the best in the world, Frank Lampard is one in this position, not any other player, for sure."
Meanwhile, Scolari expects Ashley Cole to miss the midweek Champions League trip to Italy to take on AS Roma after the England left-back limped off against Sunderland with a fresh calf muscle problem.
"We will know more tomorrow (Sunday), but I feel Ashley will not go to Roma," he continued.
"He feels something but I don't know what the diagnosis is, whether it is one week or two weeks.
"It looks like it is his calf but tomorrow we will make a scan and we will know for sure."
