Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard was hailed as one of the best players in the Premier League by boss Luiz Felipe Scolari, following his goal in the 3-0 victory at Hull City.
Lampard's exquisite chip set the Blues on their way to a comprehensive win at the KC Stadium, with Scolari full of praise for the England international.
He said: "I think his goal was one of the best in the Premier League.
"It was a fantastic goal and only Frank Lampard can make this goal. It was one of the best goals I have seen in my life.
"He is a very intelligent player and he is a man that is never tired. There are many very good players in England and one of the best is Frank."
Meanwhile, Scolari was delighted to see his side bounce back from their home defeat at the hands of Liverpool to see off the Tigers, this season's surprise packages.
He added: "After we lost against Liverpool our reaction was very good.
"We had many chances to win this game and take the three points. We will try now to make pressure for the other clubs."
