Sampdoria want to take Chelsea youngster Patrick van Aanholt on loan

Chelsea's Patrick van Aanholt, 20, is a loan target for Sampdoria. The Dutch left-back is keen for more first-team action and is also a target for Championship side Swansea Swans boss Brendan Rodgers, who worked with Van Aanholt during his stint as the Blues' youth and reserve coach, said: 'He is an Ashley Cole in the making.'
