Salgado rejected Blues

The Spain international was expected to leave the Bernabeu after another disappointing campaign, but has now revealed he intends to see out his career with Madrid.

"I have made it very clear. I don't see myself in any other team," said the 30-year-old.

"I decided to remain at Real Madrid and not go to Chelsea, I did it in order to remain here for life.

"My future is here and I intend to retire here, it would be the best thing for me."
