Rooney's final promise to break Blues' hearts again if they get past Bara

Wayne Rooney has taunted Chelsea by insisting that, even if they get past Barcelona in their Champions League semi-final second leg tonight, Manchester United will be ready to snatch glory in the final for the second year running.[LNB]Sir Alex Ferguson's men earned their place in Rome thanks to a comfortable 4-1 aggregate victory over Arsenal, and the England striker is confident that they will become the first club ever to win back-to-back titles - whoever the opponents.[LNB] Jumping for joy: Wayne Rooney is confident of tasting Champions League glory for the second season in a row.[LNB]Chelsea, who lost on penalties against United in Moscow 12 months ago, with Terry missing a kick that could have clinched the title, face Barca at Stamford Bridge tonight hoping to build on the 0-0 draw they achieved at the Nou Camp last week. [LNB]Rooney said: 'I'll be watching the Chelsea game but I don't mind who wins. People say Chelsea will be more dangerous because they'll want revenge but I don't know. [LNB]'Barcelona are a brilliant team and Chelsea have a lot of power, so both will give you a tough game. But we can beat either of them.'[LNB][LNB]Rooney says United are inspired by the opportunity to become the first team to successfully defend the Champions League trophy. [LNB]'I hope we can make history,' he added. 'We're so close now and whoever we play in the final it will be a great game. [LNB]'We have to concentrate on ourselves and the way we play. And if we do that and play the way we can, we'll be okay.'[LNB]Rooney also expects his team to add salt to Chelsea's wounds by wrapping up this year's Premier League title long before the Rome showpiece. [LNB]He said: 'We've got a few days to prepare for Manchester City on Sunday. We want to get the next two games out of the way, get two wins and go to the final as champions.'[LNB] [LNB]
