Rodgers happy with Chelsea show

Reading manager Brendan Rodgers was delighted with his side`s endeavours even though they threw away a two-goal lead to draw with Chelsea. Jimmy Kebe and Scott Davies put the Royals 2-0 up against the Premier League giants, but Salomon Kalou pulled one back in the last minute before Alex Pearce put through his own net in stoppage time. And Rodgers told the club`s official website: "I was really pleased, we did terrifically well - we are getting better all the time. "We will learn about tactically closing out games but I really enjoyed the match - obviously more so at 2-0 than 2-2. "Chelsea are a world class side and they have an elite mentality. "The players put in a lot of effort. It was a terrific day and yes it`s disappointing to draw when it ends 2-2, having been ahead against a world class team with five minutes to go."
