Chelsea's Dutch winger Arjen Robben is confident of making a major impact next season, despite struggling for form this term.
The 22-year-old former PSV Eindhoven forward excelled in his first season at Stamford Bridge, but found things more difficult this time around and faces increased competition for a place with the imminent arrival of Bayern Munich's Michael Ballack.
Robben said: "I'm never concerned because I always know my own qualities. I have a lot of confidence in myself and I'm not afraid for my place.
"Of course you know at Chelsea that you can't play every game because it's a world-class squad and with extra world-class players coming in it's going to be even harder. But I'm very confident.
"You learn and you become a better player. I think people forget sometimes that I'm only 22 still. I'm still quite young and I'm still learning and developing.
"I know I can develop myself much more and that's what I'm working for."
