Chelsea winger Arjen Robben has warned he could leave Stamford Bridge should he continue to be used sparingly by the Premiership champions.

Robben, 22, has started just half of the Blues' 20 games so far this season and it as a record that is causing the Holland international to consider his future.

"If I am not in the team I will have to consider other options," he told the News of the World.

"There are players here who get a lot of money for doing nothing but I don't want that to be me. I'm too young.

"The club have said I will be playing more regularly. So let's wait and see."

Robben - whose relationship with Blues boss Jose Mourinho has been the subject of much speculation - arrived at Stamford Bridge in 2004 in a £12million transfer from PSV Eindhoven.

But this season he has found himself behind Michael Ballack, Michael Essien, Frank Lampard and Claude Makelele in the midfield pecking order.
